This beautiful, untouched Catlins landscape is home to an abundance of Native Birds including the Wood "Kereru" Pigeon, Bellbird, Tui, Fantail, Little Brown Owl and the rare Yellow- Eyed Penguins and the Fern Bird. The Hooker's Sealion, New Zealand Fur Seals, Hector's Dolphins and the small Whistling Frogs who also call the Catlins home.
